Here’s the help you need, wherever you are.
Making your mental health a priority is essential now more than ever.
Sessions occur in an environment where you feel comfortable, and you can work with seasoned professionals brought straight to your home or office.
Online therapy is beneficial for those suffering from anxiety or depression. Grab your favorite blanket, a cup of coffee, and your furry friend to prioritize your needs using online therapy today.
Online therapy is flexible, accessible, and made to fit you and your life – whether you’re a busy parent balancing time for yourself, a working adult, or a teen who would prefer to do therapy from the comfort of your bedroom.
Online therapy helps eliminate obstacles so you can focus on YOU!
Geography is no longer a problem because you gain access to specialists outside of your geographic location. People in rural or remote areas can gain access to mental health treatment.
Online therapy allows busy individuals the convenience of therapy from the comfort of their own homes. There is no more having to drive long distances and take significant time out of a busy schedule, securing a babysitter, or taking a more extended lunch to make a therapy session.
Risking exposure to COVID-19 can feel like a burden. Online therapy reduces the risk of transmitting or contracting infectious diseases. Many of my clients have found online therapy helps with their motivation to attend therapy sessions because it is in a safe place.
Online therapy is secure, flexible, and confidential.
Therapy sessions occur on a secured web-based platform that is HIPPA compliant to ensure your confidentiality while you are in the comfort of your surroundings. It’s like a face-to-face appointment.
Teletherapy visits are private and confidential, and I use a stress-free program called SimplePractice for scheduling, case management, telehealth, and therapy notes.
Online therapy requires access to a device with a camera, microphone, and Internet connection. A laptop with a webcam or smartphone will work great! Headphones or headsets can reduce outside noise and create a more connected experience.
When deciding the best place to position yourself, you will want to choose a private, comfortable space away from household members, coworkers, or any other potential distractions. (Pets are invited for emotional support if you feel that is helpful!).
We neither record nor store our appointments. I respect your privacy, and confidentiality is critical in therapy.
“Sounds great! How does it work?”
- You’ll start by scheduling free, 15-minute consultation!
- During your free consultation, we’ll ask you some questions and offer you to ask me anything to make sure we’re a good fit for each other. If I cannot accommodate you for any reason, I’m happy to provide you with a referral to someone I feel might be a great alternate option.
- After your consultation, I’ll email you a link to your client portal where you can complete the intake paperwork at your leisure before your first session. You’ll also receive a link to your virtual “waiting room,” and you’ll use this same link to attend every session.
- A few minutes before your session, you’ll simply click the link and wait until we begin the session. It will look similar to FaceTime or Skype but from a more secure platform. Your Telehealth visit will be private and confidential. No appointments will ever be recorded.
